for pets and their people

An End of Life Doula for Pets is a compassionate, trained professional who provides non-medical support and guidance to both pets and their human companions as they navigate the sensitive journey of the end of life. Just as doulas offer support to humans during their final stages, an EOL Doula ensures that pets and their guardians experience a peaceful, loving, and dignified transition.

Nicole’s role as an EOL Doula is not to provide veterinary advice or formal grief counseling, but to be a nurturing, experienced guide throughout this challenging time. She is there to offer emotional support, comfort, and practical assistance to help you navigate the complexities of saying goodbye to your beloved companion.

At Rosie’s Hospice of Compassion, Nicole offers a range of supportive services tailored for both humans and pets facing the end of life including:

  • Meditation Groups: Available online, in person, and for download, designed to help bring peace, grounding, and clarity during this time of transition.

  • Death Café for Companion Animals: A safe, welcoming space where people can come together to share stories, seek advice, and find support in a compassionate community.

  • Online Courses: Thoughtfully crafted to help you understand and prepare for the end-of-life process, both for yourself and for your pets, ensuring you feel empowered and informed.

  • Advanced Pet Care Directives: A clear guide that allows you to document your wishes for your pet's care, ensuring that your beloved animal companions are cared for exactly as you desire, even if you're no longer here to make those decisions.

  •

Whether you're preparing for the end of life for yourself or your cherished animal companion, Nicole is here to offer you the guidance, comfort, and support you need, with a compassionate heart and a listening ear.
